At SiCam Systems we understand the power of vision, of defining and charting our own course. The vision
at SiCam Systems Corporation is to deliver to our Customers the best product size control solutions
available in our chosen markets. To support this we know we must have a strategy to make our vision a
long term reality. We understand that executing our strategy, having high standards of performance and
working within disciplined business processes will get us “to be the best".
To support our mission and
vision, we have a three-point strategy for our products, the SiCam Systems and Services, as follows:
- To provide the most accurate, reliable and stable product size control systems proven over the largest installed customer base of any size control vendor.
- To integrate the SiCam software with the widest range of vision technologies and control systems in order to provide the best scanning solution for each customer's requirements.
- To deliver professional training and support services to maximize the financial impact of the technologies for our customers.
In 1993, we made a strategic decision to pursue the lumber size control and sawmill predictive maintenance business with the SiCam Caliper System. It is a natural technology progression to move into real-time lumber size control scanning systems, an area that we pioneered in the mid-1990s and continue to lead the world today. Having successfully taken our approach and technology to veneer and engineered woods products size control, we are now moving to other market sectors where they can be effectively applied.
