Project Manager

Reporting to our Manager of Technology , the Project Manager will be involved in all aspects of our vision technology and systems implementation projects. This senior role demands:

Leadership

The Project Manager will be a leader with integrity and exceptional communication skills. Working within our multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of our projects.

Management

The successful candidate will have strong project management experience and skills. He/she will be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and with the capability to motivate both internal and customer project team members to get each job done on time and on budget. The duties of the role include: project planning, cost estimating, installation design, implementation, training and documentation.

Customer Service

The selected person will have an exceptional customer service attitude. He/she will have the capability to assess customer needs and vigilantly focus our company and its resources on the customer as the number one priority. The successful candidate will ensure that the commitments made by the company are delivered.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

Wood and/or lumber industry experience;
A post secondary degree in software or engineering;
Visual basic programming skills and experience;
PLC programming skills and experience and;
Desire to travel especially in North America, New Zealand , Australia and Europe .
