Bandsaw deflection monitoring has been used in the lumber industry for many years. These traditional systems have been plagued by reliability issues from probes regularly getting knocked off or damaged. SiCam Systems brought its Premium Product approach to bear on our bandsaw monitoring technology. It started with the sourcing and selection of the best “right fit” base sensing technology which is twice as accurate, with double the standoff and double the speed of traditional bandsaw probe systems. From there we designed a robust mounting enclosure that is easy to maintain.
